Maths Multiplication Shortcut: Multiplication of two 2-Digit Numbers
Tips and Tricks to multiply two 2-digit numbers ab and xy:

Step 1: Multiply and write the rightmost digits(by) of the two given numbers down.

Step 2:  Now, do cross-multiplication(ay and bx) and add the products(ay + bx) and write down to the left of by.

Step 3: Next, multiply the leftmost digits(ax) of the two given numbers  and write down to the left of previous result.  (If necessary, add any final carry).

Here is the quick formula:

Example 1:  Find 12 × 13

Example 2:  Find 86 × 92
